Golf at Wilderness
The golf experience is unique among most other golf communities in Southwest Florida because there are no trail fees. Members and their guests can walk with their bag or push cart anytime of day or drive their own golf cart.
Members working to perfect their game, or just warm up before a round, have access to a practice area featuring driving range, short game area and putting green with weekly clinics and private lessons offered by staff PGA professionals.
The Ladies' and Men's Golf Associations at Wilderness are very active and offer weekly organized play which helps members feel welcome while creating new and long-lasting friendships.
Our Course
Our Arthur Hills-designed 18-hole golf course winds its way through our 200 forested acres attracting golfing purists for both competitive and fun play with deep bunkers and mounded greens throughout the course. Along the course you will see tall pines, sabal palms and numerous lakes. The championship tees are set at 6,652 yards and will test a player's skills from the opening tee shot to the final hole.
Our Golf Professionals
Wilderness golf professionals strive to provide our members with a quality learning experience for every level of player, from the novice to the single digit handicapper. We offer individual and group lessons for players looking to hone their skills and enhance their enjoyment of the game. Members may schedule a private one-on-one lesson with any of our PGA or LPGA Professionals. Golf lessons are customized based on the Member's needs and skill level.
