Sara Dickson is in her 13th year as a PGA Professional and 18th year in the golf business. In 2021, Sara was peer nominated and a finalist for the South Florida PGA Southwest Chapter Professional of the Year, Merchandiser of the Year and Teacher of the Year. Previously, Sara was the 2015 Metropolitan PGA Women’s Player of the Year and the 2017 Metropolitan PGA Assistant Professional of the Year.

As a teacher, Sara is an AimPoint Green-Reading Instructor and was included in the 2018-2023 Golf Digest Best Young Teachers in America as well as the 2017-2022 Golf Digest Best Teacher by State lists.

Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, Sara graduated from Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with a Business Administration degree and concentration in PGA Golf Management. While there, she was an ESPN Magazine Academic All-American on the 25-time NCAA III National Championship Women’s Golf Team.

Upon graduation, Sara pursued working as a club professional studying under mentors at golf clubs in Chicago, New York and Boston while always returning to Southwest Florida for the winter seasons. A few prior experience highlights include The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts and Royal Poinciana Golf Club in Naples, Florida.

Sara enjoys the variety of aspects that being a club professional provides – from delivering engaging member events and programs to golfing competitively and helping others reach their professional and golfing goals as well.
