Wilderness has a thriving tennis program.
Play is on four Omni Courts in a delightful wooded setting.
The program is directed by our tennis professional, Spike Gonzales. He has been a USPTA certified tennis pro for 35 years and has developed thousands of players from beginners to professionals.
Spike is equally at home coaching children, current players, newcomers to the game, and players returning to the game after a long absence, always with the belief that tennis is a fun game and an enjoyable way of keeping fit.
Lessees and guests are always welcome.
The regular weekly program is as follows:
 | Monday 3 p.m. mixed doubles followed by the ever popular cheese and wine hour. | | Tuesday and Friday mornings at 8:30 a.m. | Mens' round robin | | Wednesday and Saturday monrings at 8:30 a.m. | Ladies' round robin | | Friday 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon | Mixed tennis clinic |
All parings are made by the tennis pro to provide good tennis for all abilities.
The regular program is supplemented by occastional inter-club matches, special events, and the season ending club champiionship
